Which should I use to keep things running well? I've been reading about Powertools and it seems it's more comprehensive than Ccleaner.

However it's not free anymore whereas Ccleaner is, and it's still updated everynow and again..

Hmm I might try Regseeker again. It didn't work on my XP32 installation but I'm using V64 now so will give it a whirl...

The defragger I use is JK defrag which is supposed to be a truely awesome free one. I can't remember the name of that website which looked at all the free ones but there was a comparison a while back by somebody.

Hmm Regseeker appears to be working well. And it's found a lot of things that Ccleaner hasn't. Could be onto a winner here..

Edit it's found 737 things! Crikey - but it also appears to be stuck on 99% and crashed on exit :/

Hmm. Why is it doing all the disks? It did my C: and my D: which are separate disks but it is now doing my external HDD as well. Apart from turning the external HDD off is there anyway to tell JkDefrag what drives to run on?

Not really, I usually just let it do all my drives or I turn it off manually. It's kind of an annoying feature really..
