Before anyone shoots me down in flames, I'm not trying to peddle these things. They do have me intrigued, however. Does anyone here actually own one? How do they fare for retro gaming on the go? What's the build quality like?

Someone on the forum bought one for £80, but for the life of me, I can't find one in that price bracket.

I used to own the JXD S7300, turned out it was real analogue and the OS ran like crap.

The S7800 looks to be pretty awesome though. I'd be tempted.

I was looking at one of these aswell, but it's been out over a year now and I imagine a newer one will be out pretty soon, worth waiting methinks.

The whole point of playing retro is not to emulate but to play them on the orginal hardware, from what I've seen of all those types of devices even the ones like the retron series and later release console versions like the megadrive mk 3 is that they are pants.

surely they are much better and cheaper ways of playing old games, even hand held.

Bit narrow minded? I own most retro consoles...Good luck playing your PS2/Dreamcast on the bus!
