K-Lite Codec pack issue

Hi, I've used the K-Lite Mega Codec pack for a long time now but all of a sudden I have a problem with playing avi files. With the K-Lite codec pack installed, the sound when playing avi files will only come out of 2 speakers. When I remove K-Lite, the sound plays from all of speakers. Could it be 2 codecs conflicting, or what else could it be?

K-Lite screws your system up. I'd do a fresh install, and install ffdshow and then only the other codecs as needed, when video/audio doesn't work.
