Just had a new phone upgrade from the Sony E: k750i to the Sony E: k610i (as it was free) i've compaired it to the k750i but on the site there isnt much in them apart from battery life etc. Does anyone have the k610i? is it any good ?:P

K750i in a new box iirc.

Edit, I'm sure you could have done better than that, what tariff & network?
 
I had the k750i / will have the k610i

only been with orange about 7 months get a free upgrade after 6 months (now)

500txt (use about 200+)
200mins cross network (went over this month which is amazing as i hardly ever use it as im at work all day)

to be honest i find Orange to be okay , but i never get any signal at work either i have to go outside or next to a window to get 1/2 bars to send a text ..lol so annoying i will be leaving Orange when my contract runs out next year ( bloody 18month contract)

I really like the look of the K610i and was so close to buying one at the weekend but opted for a K800i.

As with all SE phones, they are nice and easy to use IMO

Well, it adds 3G but (as above) loses the autofocus of the camera, has a generally inferior camera module (see comparison reviews that compare the pictures) and also lacks the FM radio of the K750i.

It's quite obvious that the target market of K610i is mid-range whereas the K750i was more towards the upper end of the market when it first came out, hence the step-down in features.
