My Corsair K70 mechanical keyboard has died after 4 years of service. Model number was CH-9000058-UK.

I'm looking to replace with similar, but maybe a little bit quieter. Any suggestions? There seems to be a ton of choice and likely to be around £100+ so looking to research a little before diving in.

Basically every MX Blue keyboard is as noisy.
MX Brown would lack that added sound effect.
Though they still have same sharp noises coming from hard plastic parts smashing each others both in down and upstroke.
Logitech's Omron made Romer-G would be non-linear switch with damping for those noise sources.

Both are different from MX Blue.
Brown has half "shorter" in force increase and duration tactile bumb than Blue.
And Romer-G little lower peak force than Bown, but with tactile bumb starting pretty much instantly in early part of travel without "looser" travel in there.

Anyway if you've gotten used to that clear stronger tactile bumb of Blue, it would be good to try different switches in shop if possible.
(or if you have friend/neighbour with other swithc keyboard)

Good thing I didn't have to spend that long in getting used to MX Brown after membrane keyboards and then to Romer-G after nearly five years with MX Brown...

I would suggest to go with ducky instead of corsair unless you get the mk2 SE that comes with pbt caps.

I have k95 with speeds and recently got ducky one 2 with blacks and the keyboard feels so much nicer, had to return it as it appears I can only tolerate speed switches from now on but the quality of ducky blew me away, it felt so much nicer, I think part of it might be PBT keycaps but I am not sure.

Ducky benefits are better value for money, PBT keycaps, detachable cable usb-c (on one 2 model and maybe others) and standard bottom row such that if you want to change keycaps in the future any set will fit whereas corsair has non standard bottom row so replacement caps would need to be custom / from corsair / otherwise bottom row will look awful.

Ducky shine 7 should be releasing soon, so watch out of that!

Edit: got myself PBT keycaps from corsair and now I can say that ducky's build quality is miles ahead (ptb caps didnt take away flimsy rattling keys). Go for ducky, avoid corsair/razer/logitech for keyboards. This is such a huge difference in feel when typing.

Check out the Logitech G513, i have it with Romer G switches and i love them.

If you haven't used many switches maybe worth buying a switch tester with a bunch of different keys. Only like £15 and you might find you prefer another type of switch :-)

I grabbed a wireless White DREVO 72 brown switch rgb keyboard.. Funky and not too shabby as an alternative to my corsair k70 when I fancy a clean look

Nice keyboard. I still have doubts about mechanical switches vrs membrane top tier alternatives. I seriously recommend you try before you buy. Have fun.

I wouldn't recommend any particular keyboard as everyone really has different feelings and opinions. My only real gripe is the price some of these true mechanical rgb keyboards go for. I've tried some ducky mechanical keyboards, not the one your after but I found them no better no worse then any other cherry switch.
I do expect that a really expensive mechanical keyboard to last a very long time and yet the longest I've had one is just over 4 years (using them since 2010). Got some cheap membrane pretty looking keyboards that are well over 10 years old (wired and wireless)
Im not an extensive gamer either and although I use pc's a lot I have multiple machines so the wear on each is pretty light indeed.
Im not the best to guide anyone on a keyboard as tbh I'm as happy to type on anything that's of sufficient size and responds in a timely manner.
I would however expect great things from this Ducky rgb your keen on and I suggest you have the option to return it if doesn't measure up.

NEW Low profile mechanical switches are supposed to be very nice if reviews are to be believed. Again I can't say as I don't have access to one currently but I am tempted to buy/try one (currently own 13 keyboards and near as many mice) I'm literally never totally happy and I've returned a fair few aswell.

Went from a Corsair K65 to a Ducky Shine 5 - the Ducky felt leagues apart. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you do buy a Ducky.

I couldnt agree less lol
My ducky shine 6 has been absoloute garbage, with the space bar needing cling film to fix it constantly popping off (you can read about this google search) and random miss typos that are not near where im typing.
Plus some other issues, im actually moving to a different brand again for xmas, wife is in charge this time lol

Doesn't sound very good :( My Shine 5 has been absolutely faultless.
