K750i Shutter Sound

Hey ive got a SE K750i and even with volume down and silent mode on, the shutter sound still goes. My friends one does not get the shutter sound, and its quite annoying to have it. Any ideas of how to get rid of it?

Your model might have the software version that needs to comply with certain laws, making shutter sound compulsory even when under silent mode. In that case, the only way to get rid of the shutter sound is flashing your firmware either with just the patch to get rid of camera sound, or a different localisation firmware altogether.

My K750i doesnt have the shutter sound when on silent, but my old K500i did. You could stop it by making a call (say to voicemail or something, momentarily) and then activating the camera and taking your picture. Its a bit of a strange workaround but hey...

Not sure if this works with K750i though.

mmm, maybe my phones got that silly law thing on it, anyone know how to turn it off on a Sharp?
