K800i and Gmail Java - anyone got it working?

hi guys, i'm using a k00i on O2 and can't get gmail mobile (the java one) working, looked on gmail help, but not really helping me! - anyone got this setup working? i had it fine on my k750i

yep working fine, did nothing different to my w900i. Pointed my phone to the addy, installed and roberts your fathers brother.

must be some setting somewhere on the phone!

yeah everything else seems to work ok, so it must be a setting but not sure which one it could be
