does the sony ericsson K800i support 4 gig M2 cards?

thanks for hte quick reply because the sony ericsson site says up to 2GB and i wanted to make sure that i can use my 4gb card on this phone when it arrives

is really a question you should ask before ordering.

some people have reported that 4gb stick in their k800 k810 phones run slower and make phone crash and lockup.

but at moment i have no first hand experience with that.

i have the card already (being used in my k750i with an adaptor) and i'm waiting for the phone

bit slower then a 2 gb memory stick pro duo in terms of access times but acceptable (for me) as it is only used for music

The speed is fine, loading the music etc after updating can take a few seconds if it is full though

Yeh, they just haven't updated the site. The 4Gb M2 cards haven't been out for very long

But two of my mates have 4Gb cards with their K800is, and they both work fine
