K800i - Orange - Inactive Sim

I get this message on my phone, and I have absolutely no idea why!

It was sitting on my desk earlier, I heard a beep and looked and it now displays this!

I looked on google and it seems that my phone may be blacklisted?! I don't see how, seeing as I have the box, the receipt, the bills and the phone itself.

What can I do? I can't ring Orange because the phone doesn't dial out and I don't get paid so I can't go to a phonebox.

This is really annoying and upsetting me as I use my phone so much to ring my girlfriend. 500 miles away and this is the only way to keep in touch.

I'm planning on going into the Orange shop tomorrow, but I wondered if there is anything I can try in the mean time?

There's a network issue affecting some customers, engineers are working on resolving it asap.

Try turning the phone off/on every so often so when it's fixed, the phone will pick it up again

Thanks, since posting I left it off and just turned it back on to have it work fine!

I was a little worried I'd somehow been barred from my own phone .
