i have upgraded to the k810i today , should be here tomorrow.

now does this phone with t-mobile have physical t-mobile branding on the handset?

im just going to go crazy if it does. you get 7 days grace, ill send it back if it does,

thanks

why is it such a problem?

why not look on the t-mob website, it will look like it does in the pics.

You usually can scratch off the logo with your fingernail. Its not too hard to do and scratches off without any mark beneath.:)

nice , i will attempt a debranding . :)

why do t mobile feel the ***king need to brand the phones anyway? bit obsessive innit?

oh no! people will know i use t-mobile!!!!

nothing to do with that, im not ashamed of being with t mobile i think they are a great phone company which i have a good deal with.

i think it cheapens the look of the handset by having a company name on it who had no involvement in designing or making the phone.

i just wanted a untouched handset.

bit like buying a Dell laptop and it being branded with B.T.

All the companies do it to mobiles. Vodafone also butcher the nice looking SE menus and replace them with some Live! branded menus.

I suggest asking for an unbranded version and if you get nowhere, simply sell it on a well known auction site as soon as you receive it and buy an unbranded one from a reputable mobile phone retailer such as *** - not sure if these guys count as competitors but just noticed they sell laptops also...anyway just buy an unbranded one with what you make on a well known auction site.

If people like you complained with such crap, then there would be less complaints made. Live with it if you don't like it send it back and buy one somewhere else.

its nothing like that at all. T-Mob do have some development,as do other companies, however, its with the software rather than the hardware.

if you want an untouched handset, buy one separately.

do you moan about football tops with sponsors logos on them?

Whats with the aggressive tone - chill out, he just wants to remove the branding - whats wrong with that!

That is entirely unfair. Anyone is within their rights to try and avoid the terrible branding that goes over most phones, both on the exterior and the software.

I'm not sure what's more sad. This thread. Or the fact that people feel the need to have a phone as a style accessory, so much so, that they can't have a single logo on it.

Do you lot go to the same lengths to remove the Sony Ericsson logo as well?

if i decided to sell this phone it would be worth less because of the branding.

so there is an example of a real life reason not to want the branding.

and why would i want to remove the S.E logo? they made the phone.

#1 Phone worth more as said above
#2 Phones ARE style accessories, get over it
#3 The manfacturer's branding is original and therefore acceptable
#4 You're the sad one since you couldn't work out #s1-3 for yourself

I dont know whats more sad - people whining about someone asking a simple question or people posting to try and help someone out.
