K90 or wait for K95?

Im in the market for a gaming mechanical keyboard and want to buy the Corsair k90 but i heard its not fully mechanical? should i wait for the K95 or if its going to be ages i might aswell just get the K90?

Do you want the extra macro keys? If not, wait for the k70.

The k90 is not fully mechanical, the k95 and k70 will be and are due for release early April.

Read it in numerous places:

The K70 will be available in early April for around $129,99, which puts it right in the thick of things with Steelseries, Logitech, and Razer.

I have the k90 and Yup not all the keys are mechanical (macro keys), it's still a nice keyboard but if I was looking to pick up a new keyboard I would hold out for the new k95 which should be fully mechanical and you can light each key individually. I have also heard a release date of April so hopefully not to long to wait.

Need a replacement for G15 and the K70 and K95 have certainly caught my eye but they're twice what I wanted to spend!

What is the corsair macro software like? Initially I wanted to stay with Logitech so I've been looking at the G110 or G19 but if the corsair macro software is good I might look at a mechanical keyboard instead

Well i've just got my K95, if you want to know what the software is like and what i can do you can download the user guide from the corsair website. It has it all listed there! i like the fact you can record the macro's on the fly, without using the software.

If you wanna know any else about the keyboard then i'll try my best to answer!

How is the backlighting in the dark? If you set the light on an individual key is it obvious which key is lit or are the lights affecting other nearby keys?

Waiting for OCUK to get more stock before mine turns up :mad:

I love how the manual basically says that "hardware mode" bypasses some anti cheat systems. Nice selling point

The lighting on the Key is per key, it doesn't light up near by keys! The only thing you can see in the dark besides the key is the brushed aluminum! I don't think thats a bad thing lol!

The silver K70 is the best version IMHO. I'm so glad corsair decided to use silver for the blue LEDs. Black board and blue led has been done to death. K70 is the best keyboard I've ever owned
