With any collectible it all comes down to the resale value! If this GPU becomes higher in value has time goes by then you have done well! if it drops then you have failed :D

Throwing £1200 down the drain, all for a bit of OcUK forum peer envy?

Was it really worth it?

If you really have this much money to waste, why not do something useful with it, such as donate the money to cancer research UK or something similar of actual value to the world.
 
Won't get criticised by me - when fully lit up both styles look awesome and I've struggled not to buy the red one just because I'm a sucker for that colour scheme and style.

Hey no disrespect but surely it is up to the person who has the money to choose what they buy rather than some person decide it is a waste and they should give it to charity. Everyone has their own view so let them spend it how they want. It doesn't harm you.

Don't see the problem myself - something I couldn't ever justify buying, but if you have the money, why shouldn't you be able to spend it on "nice things".
