Kaby lake to Skylake

I check a lot of information in google but just see few comments so I get confuse . I still running with G4560 , just ordering I7 6700K which will come in 2-3 working days . My current board is MSI B250PC Mate so I will not have options to overlock but that's no problem . The real question is - Do I need to do something when me new i7 come or just unplug G4560 and plug the new one + I order Cryorig H7 hope is good choice . Like 98 % of the people say if board support Kabylake he can read Skylake because is oldest so there is no reason to update bios or anything . But today one told me that I have to update Bios because skylake andkabylake is different …

According to that, you need to make sure you're on at least 7A72v30 for both your current CPU and the i7 so it should work fine if the current CPU works.

Im currently use G4560 with version 3.00 of the BIOS when i check it . Before nearly year when i buy the pc people say do not update bios from msi live update and i never update it . Tomorrow will buy any USB cheaper in my town and will make it bootable so i will update to the latest update . Thanks for the help.
