Kaggle and data science tutorials

Hi ,

Looking at doing something fun and a bit away from normal software dev.

A few years ago I looked at data science and had a a play on Kaggle, I remember seeing a really good video? tutorial on the Titanic project and how to see which values were important for predicting survival rate and how to tell them.

Any one know any good tutorials on this. And more on random forests and linear regression etc.

Just want to learn for fun as a bit of relaxation

Have you tried Kaggle again? I'd not heard of it but it looks quite good


EDIT: Having had time to really dig into Kaggle it appears to assume you already know data science and it's for practice.

Lynda has some nice videos on it
