Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days demo

Just played it on Xbox 360 and its total turd.

The pixleation graphics looks totally wrong imo and the character models are just rubbish. Shooting feels awkward and when in cover you still get shot to pieces. Add this to the fact your character handles like a lorry on ice you get one bad game.

Wasnt a fan of the first, shooting mechanics were dire, cover system dog **** and the characters I couldnt have cared less about. To top it off my keyboard wouldnt work with it, had two old ones work with it fine but its the only game Iver ever played that wouldnt work with my Saitek gaming KB.

Was watching a quicklook of the second on Giant Bomb and thought it looked like a pretty big improvement all round, will give this a look, thanks!

Just downloading the PC version from Steam now. I don't hold much hope but want it to be better than the 360's tripe in terms of graphics.

And we've got another switcher. This game is ditching Games for Windows Live for Steamworks.

After playing the shocking 1st game of this i wont even bother to look at this game.

One of the worst games ever made for the PC imo

Steam's downloading it faster than my maximum bandwidth, LOL. I guess no-one else wants to try it.

Haha I got that too, normally it's 700KB/s but Steam was showing 1.1MB. I just played the demo for about 5 minutes and decided it isn't very good. Runs and looks good though.

Better on my laptop, probably the wobbly camera is not as noticeable on a 15" display. I quite enjoyed it compared to the 360 on a big TV.

The first game I am playin atm, some moments of excellence amidst below par execution. Downloading the second one now, let's see what it's like! :)

(Still) Great concept, great visuals, decent gameplay, but the shaky cam made me sick during the 10 minutes the demo lasted (singleplayer part anyway). Would be a game to look forward to during Steam sales if it wasn't for the camera.. maybe someone can fix/mod it.

Downloading @ 7.4MB/s

but peak Download rate is showing 5.9MB/s which sounds about right

As for the game, never did finish the first game, will give the demo a go

Wooden camera effect as others have said but I thought it was pretty good. I expect like the first game it doesn't have enough variety to make it a game worth paying release price, but on a sale then I'd quite happily risk a purchase.

Was expecting it to be a little longer. I don't really get the purpose of the shakey pixelated camera though. I didn't mind it, I just want it to make sense.
