Kangoo dial issue

I had to charge my battery recently, since then my dials dont work. battery terminal seems ok, but if I disconnect the neg for 10-20 secs and reattached, it then works. When its left for a couple of hours it stops working again.

I've wiggled the battery connections but nothing seems to bring it to life other than disconnecting it.
