Bit of a weird one, but last year my dad bought a Karaoke machine when he was in Hong Kong. This was the one you usually find in Chinese businesses that offers karaoke rooms for parties, made up of seperate machines (karaoke machine, microphone machine, amp, and touchscreen). Travelling back to the UK with it was fine and nothing was damaged when testing it.
This year he decided to take it with him to sing with the relatives at Christmas, however when I was helping him setting it up we discovered the touchscreen was damaged during the trip. This is needed to control the karaoke machine (as he lost the remote for it back in HK). I attempted to fix it but after going through various methods it seems to be dead.
So, my dad wants to look for a new touchscreen, however it's a bit of an odd one. The karaoke machine can output with either VGA or HDMI as normal, but it only accepts from what I can see a RJ45 connection for the touchscreen input. Is there any touchscreen that offers this? As far as I know most touchscreen monitors requires only a USB input...
If it helps from what I can see the karaoke machine brand is "Singing Gentlemen".
