Karl Pilkington - Sick Of It

Can't say I was hooked compared to other shows he's done, first episode wasn't too good and the second was a step in the right direction.
 
I quite like Karl. I think me and him are grumpy in the same way :D
However I struggled to enjoy Ep1 of this and will probably only go back for more when I've literally exhausted everything else I want to watch.

I dunno.... fake grumpiness and a sitcom with extremely unrealistic happenings. Just not doing it for me. Sorry, Karl :P
 
Speaking as likely the biggest Pilkington fan in the known Universe, I really enjoyed it!

I think a lot of the shows composition and general direction is more a product of Richard Yee's experience then Karl's ability (not too knock him there, of course), but the writing seems to be mostly all Karl. There's jokes and scenarios in the show that have come up in his previous 'work' and the style just seems to suit his weird little introspections perfectly.

The bathroom scene in the second episode had me on the floor. His comic timing is superb at times.
