Karting Gloves (does these look too big?)

Dont Kart very often, but ive ran out of gloves to use for when i do go Karting, so i bought some Alpinestars

Although they fit length wise (fingers at the end, feel comfortable)
At the palm area there is a lot of gap between the glove and my palm, does this mean too big?
