karting
ok so ive done in doors and well I want more. I don't want to race etc (to much hassle) but can I do cart track days with my own cart?

yes, but you normally still end up paying the same price as if you used one of their carts, plus they are often subject to stringent tests before they let you on the track unless you are in a racing outfit or part of a team.

Got a few mates who do Karting with their own karts, looks real fun.

They have to be inspected before the start of every race, along with your safety kit. What kart you have decides which league you're in, and the stringency of the checks.

Looks like a real hoot though :D

If you join a local track you shouldn't have any issues doing a "track day" some are even open every day for such activity, like whilton mill in northants for example.

They do not usually do safety checks on open days as they are not responsible for issues, but some will do a visual inspection, check brakes work and check your safety equipment.

Used to race 125 and 250 long circuit and short circuit, its a lot of fun so I have a lot of experience in the sport.
