Kaspersky blocking LAN access - please help

My desktop and netbook were quite happy sharing files betwene each other, until I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 on them both.

I have figured out that if I stop the Firewall functionality altogether on them both, file sharing is again allowed. However, I want this switched on right for protection against the internet?

Anyone know how in the advanced settings I can let them share files again?

I can't remember exactly but change the firewall settings to 'local network' or 'trusted network' that should avoild blocking of file and printer sharing. Hope this helps.

I would switch off the firewall completely. The built-in Windows firewall is more than good enough.
