Torrents Downloading
I find that when downloading the latest Linux using utorrents that Kaspersky freezes the puter can't even access the router interface or check e-mail. Any ideas?

It's something that has been annoying the whole Kaspersky community for some time now. Not sure if there is a fix at the moment tbh.

I uninstalled my version yesterday as it was doing exactly the same plus it was blue screening my Vista at least 5 times a day.

Back to Mcafee & NOD32 for me.

Is this effecting vista only? im on xp and have no problems here with torrents and kaspersky. I use Utorrent client as well.

Vista64 here and Kaspersky 7 with no freezing problems.

You sure this isn't uTorrent?
I used to have similar problems when too many global connections were specified in the uTorrent configuration.

Have you tried another torrent program for comparisson?

Theres always the max speed option in the firewall settings. also dissable stealth. not had any issues with kasper/utorrent.

Come to think of it, when I had utorrent on default settings for the speed/connections, there were no issues.

I still kept getting blue screens and restarts and Vista would always point to Kaspersky as the problem.
