I'm giving the trial of Kaspersky Internet Security a try and during installation I was asked what level of protection/alerts I want. There were 3 radio buttons ranging from alerts for expert users for everything, some monitoring/blocking or something (for most users), down to minimal interactivity or monitoring...I think.
Now, I selected the expert user mode thinking this is what I needed for Kaspersky to tell me that outbound programs are requesting net access. Unfortunately it is asking me to allow or deny every .dll access which means anything I do triggers Kaspersky.
Does anyone know if these 3 options, which I vaguely remember, are in the options as I can't find them...or how I can reduce the alert level to something basic such as applications accessing the internet rather than every file process on the local PC?
