Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 help

I'm trying Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 but it seems very hard to use. I'm trying to add a laptop in the Management Console but it says that Kaspersky Small Office Security is not installed, when in fact it is. I've tried disabling the firewall on the laptop which made no difference. The admin password is the same for both installations. The server IP is 10.0.0.2 and the laptop is 10.0.0.196.
