Kaspersky Users - Are you using just AV or Internet Security

As above....but theres not that much price difference, is the Internet security package worth it?

I use the full KIS product and have been very pleased with it. At a cost of about £1 a month I cant complain at the price either.

Not much price difference :confused:

KIS6 is £40 for a years license and KAV6 is £24

I only use KAV6 as I dont feel the need for a software firewall.

For a 3 PC licence the difference is £15.

3 Licences for Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 = £48.05
3 Licences for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 = £32.53

Ok, so theres £15 difference, but devided by the 3 PC's is an extra £5..ish per machine..is it worth it is my question.

Never had anything but problems with a software firewall, and I have a firewall on my router, so don't really know if its worth the extra.

Is it only just the firewall in the IS pack above the AV?

u can get just a firewall software without AV .. e.g norton firewall..

I trialled KIS but at the end decided just to go for KAV. I found the firewall fiddly, especially when trying to get iTunes to work with it :mad:

I've bought 3 copies of KIS 6 on OEM or from an auction site and they've cost me between 12 and 14 each. For that sort of money I might as well get the whole suite. If you don't like the firewall bit don't install it, but leave the rest of the stuff in place. I don't install the Spam filter as its not desperatly good.

I bought a KAV 5 licence pack in October last year for £75 (£15 per licence). Could have saved a few quid if I had picked up the 2 for 1 offer over christmas.
