kaspersly mobile security

just looking at my online bank account with barclays today
they are offering free kaspersly mobile security as well as pc and mac
anyone used it? i presume it is similar to find my droid kind of programs
im giving it a try but is it worth it?

as with find my droid it looks like you can reset or locate your device

i think the antivirus scanning is a bit ott though

Yes I have one in my Samsung Galaxy S moblie phone running Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 that work fine but didnt support my Galaxy Tab 10.1 cos it dont run Honeycomb 3.1 until later as it may development soon... that for Froyo 2.2 or Gingerbread 2.3 only that run fine.

yeah, had a quick read and it's more than just an AV. I still stand by AV on a phone being pointless though.

I got it from Barclays as well and does a fine job. It was free so might as well install it.
