i recently installed kasperspy on a formatted system, everytime i try and wonload a file or install a plugin i.e flash witinn my internet browser the download just hangs half way. i know its kasperspy because if i disable it works, does anyone know of anything i need to disable??

Are there any Kaspersky Plugins installed in IE? Could try disabling these.

Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Manage Add ons>

i just read in that forum that kasperspy and the latest firefox dont really get on, guess its back to avg

Many people I know use KaspersKy with Firefox and have done for ages. I have both KAV and firefox and have never had a single problem. Nor has my friend, nor have quite a lot of people on these and the Kaspersky forums had problems either.

Of course you'll see people having problems on their forums though, it's what they are there for and I'm betting it's machine specific issues that are causing the issues

well the main thing for me is that it works with internet explorer and it doesnt with firefox.... so in my opionion its got something too do with the latest version of kaspersky or firefox, there is obivously something there that isnt agreeing...

Using KAV 2006 with Firefox (Latest build) and IE7 Beta 2, no problems at all.

What problem are you having? maybe some members who peruse this section of OcUK will be able to shed some light on the issue

it wouldnt let me download the r200 driver from epson, the flash plugin would not run, grabit (any version) wouldnt download. there are others, the downloads start then hang.

please people stop telling me if its working on your pcs its not really helping me find a solution.

Well it is kind of hard for us to help when you don't tell us what's wrong.

Was it the epson stylus photo r200 driver? I just tried now from

here

don't think it used any flash and it downloaded fine, see if you can download from that site - if that's the driver you need
