ive got it on mine but never had a virus but my brother has just bought it for his comp and its found viruses,now it doesnt give him the option to delete them just put them in quarantine,so when he goes to do that it creates a folder in my documents is that right cheers
 
A lot of modern virusus totally bork files and cannot be properly cleaned, so quatantine is the only option.

If an OS is really riddled I would always feel safer backing up files, wiping and re-installing windows.
 
I had this same problem until I realised they were not actually virus's but a vulnerability in a particular program for hackers to exploit. Right clicking on the particular reported vulnerability gives the option to go to description which directs you to a patch to download and install.
I am downloading various patches from microsoft to cure some of mine.
Should just say that mine were found during a full scan of hard drives.
