Hi all
My brother is looking at buying a new PC for his son (6 years old) who tends to play minecraft, the sims, warcraft, starcraft, UT and hopefully some newer games as and when ie Rust.
He has monitor, psu, mouse etc and just needs motherboard, cpu/gpu, heat sink, memory and case. Looking at up to £400 for the money which currently has him looking at Kaveri.
He have this as a starter:
Kaveri 7850
Corsair 80i (out of stock so maybe an equivalent?)
Corsair Veng. Pro
Gigabyte F2A88XM-DS2
Case ?? Generic Cooler master but he hasn't linked it to me. Think it was £30 worth.
Any good? Anything obviously wrong with it or amendments that would make a better system for the same or slightly (I know how carried away we get when speccing systems
) more money? Or alternative to Kaveri at this price range for a cheap gaming rig.?
Thanks all
edit: I have been trying to squeeze a amd 8320/260x system out of his budget but so far have failed
