Ok,
so i'm after a wireless keyboard/mouse for my gaming.
The cheapo set i've had for a couple of years has, to be fair performed better than a logitech set i bought a few months back. So much so, that i swapped back to the cheapo set.
However, it's about had its day.
I know there are those who sit firmly in the camp of "you can't play FPS with wireless keyboard and mouse". however there are those that disagree, me being one of them.
Currently i'm using wired, but i sit about 8ft from my 47" TV when gaming and the dog chewed through one of the usb extension cables (boy did he get a good shoe'ing for that).
So, I have been hankering over THIS because you can also use the keyboard wired if need be. And its mechanical which is a bonus.
However, i'm a leftie and whilst the iOne mouse is generic, i do quite like THIS wired one.
That said, i'd make a compromise if there is such a thing as a wired/wireless keyboard with a usb port that a mouse can plug into. Thus at worst i only have one cable trailing from my pc to my keyboard.

Any advice would be appreciated guys.
Thanks :)

The XArmor is an old keyboard design. The QPads are basically rebranded XArmors. I know mine has a dodgy key illumination controller (I have to make sure lights are off before shutdown), but apart from that, it's solid. It's also quite heavy.

TBH, I don't really see the point of a wireless keyboard, if it's gonna sit on a desk. There's a case for a wireless mouse (cable snagging), but I don't know what would be a good wireless mouse. I would say, take a look at a Logitech G602.

And yeah, that Deathadder is a good mouse. Zowie does some good ambidextrous mice.

The keyboard would sit on my lap with the mouse on a box to my left. Wireless would be great as is kills any trip hazard, plus I don't have to worry about cable management when getting the keyboard and mouse out to play a game, then putting them away again. I'd ideally need 3m cable for each. Imagine the ball-ache of managing the cables.

Whatever you do, stay away from the K-series from Logitechs for gaming. They have key ghosting issues. I don't know about that XArmor. As a keyboard, it should be fine (as it's not illuminated, else I would advise you to stay away). As a wireless keyboard, battery life and so on, no idea.
