KB & Mouse now not working

Built a new rig a few weeks ago and all have been great.

Have to move it so unplugged everything, USB, monitor sect.

Apon starting it up again the mouse and Kb do not work anymore????

They work fine in the Bios but as soon as win7 boots up nothing?
Some times win7 says it has successfully installed the death adder mouse however it does not respond.
Whenever I plug the KB in it says it failed to install the drivers.

I am sure this is a USB driver issue with in windows but I have noway of updating/deleting them.

I have tried USB 2&3 ports, tried sys store point, default, reset bios, update bios and still nothing.
Checked legacy enabled, as I said bios says they are connected.

Please help

Try unplugging all peripherals and rebooting. If this fails try booting windows in safe mode.

Yep tried all that.

I am sure it has something todo with a recent windows update or chipset drivers. The problem is I can't update the as they don't work

Have you got PS/2 on the motherboard. You could try a USB to PS/2 adapter.

There is nor PS/2
Its the Asus Impact Mobo
