I'm looking to replace my G512 SE, its perfect for what i need but the "H" key is starting to stick and it bugging me.
I've tried to clean it with ISO and still the same, i did dump a vodka red bull on it a month of 2 ago :D

I'm dyslexic, so don't type unless i have to, i use it for gaming but only the ones i have to i am a controller fanny.
taking this into account I'm not spending £200 but I'm happy to go up to £100, i like clicky keys

ive just seen you can build a little Glorious Numpad that could be got out for when gaming, so based on that i think i would like a little KB

could you point me in the right direction for a full UK layout

Im not saying i would buy this but i get so lost in KB formats, what i need is key caps, switch's and a BB keyboard right.
that would be a basic working keyboard?
is there anything i need to avoid and something/brand i should get

i know i want ISO UK, i cant change layout that would kill my head

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £141.97 (includes delivery: £0.00)

If I’m going to buy a pre build I will probably be a Logitech as I know the switch type and the way they feel. They have gone down hill the last few years but the 513 I’ve had before and know I like it.

I do fancy building custom now if I’m honest. I have mix switch types for gaming keys and so on. I don’t type too much so I’m not a switch snob but I do like a heavy key for gaming reasons I like the feedback and feeling the weight under the finger.

I understand what your saying about the switch's but as I'm dyslexic i don't type unless i have to.
the only reason i went for mechanical is for games, i like the feedback i get from a heavy switch it as if its pushing back against my finger, i don't like the light ones they feel like they collapsed under my finger and i find my self double tapping a lot

if you was building a KB from OcUK with a heavy linear switch, what would guys go for

i looked at the Nuphy but there all ANSI, im wanting ISO, it would take me forever to learn the new layout

Have a look at Akko keyboards as well, they do full size if thats what you're set on.

im looking at a 65% but wanting IOS, obviously this is not a popular layout as the Akko are all ANSI layout.
ive only used ISO like for ever and i dont know if switch layouts would bug me of if i would pick it up fast but i dont want to drop upto £200 into a keyboard that ends up killing my head

i got 3 sets on switch's i got red Kailh as I've had them before i thought i loved them... so i fitted them for a day and used the system. it was good
but i have just fitted my Xtrfy Kailh Grey its a very heavy 100g switch and i love them. im a big lad 187cm 215kg and heavy handed the force feedback i get is amazing when i type normally im not bottoming out like i normally do everything just feels perfect.
i'll be gaming tonight with them but i think i found my match and dont ever want to try the purple(60g)

How is the new Keyboard my Logitec g413 is near death with multiple number keys either not working or dodgy and several loose keycaps I had stern words with my eldest about football manager rage

ordered a Rocat Vulcan pro (tactile switch) last night will see how that it

The keyboard is fantastic, solid. I’m just not a fan of the form factor I going to grab the GMMK full size and sell the 65%

I looked and looked at TLK keyboards but just love having the number pad use one all day at work so my hand goes to them automatically for any typing
the problem i'm having it catching the arrow keys when going for shift and deleting lines of text.
also didn't realist how much i use F5...
when playing squads at the weekend, that's when i realised how much i need a number pad.

the feel and build of the BK is fantastic and i cant complain that's why i will get the GMMK full size.
