This update came through Windows Update last night. I installed it and everything was fine, so I just went about my business. However, next morning when I booted up Vista, I was met with a barrage of errors. They would all be in a set order though. The first thing to stop responding would be Windows Live Messenger while trying to log on. When I would try and close the pop-up box for this, Watson Host (or something along those lines) would also fail. I would open IE7 to find I had no internet connectivity, even though the network centre said I had. Then on closing internet explorer, it too would also 'fail'.
I've just run a system restore to get rid of the update, and everything is running smoothly again.
