KDE Desktop icons keep shrinking

This is happening to me no matter what distro I use?

I cannot fathom it.

Its fine on a fresh install, but after a short while ( after a few updates I think ) they shrink?

I have currently got MINT 14 and at this time, I have gone with gnome and then installed KDE and the icons were small riht from the off.

If I go with KDE Version, they are fine and then they shrink after a restart

Same applies with SuSE 11.4 and 12.x and also Fedora.

Im running it on my Samsung R60+ Lappy.

Setting the Desktop icon size does nothing by the way.

turn off dynamic icon resizing?

I don't use KDE but I said that to one of my friends that does and they not said anything back

Ok, cheers. I will have a look.

Yeah, I used to be KDE all the way, but KDE4 drove me away... Gnome 3 with that unity has drove me away from gnome and thankfully, MATE saves the day there, but Im starting to want some to give KDE another shot... As long as I dont have that ridiculous newer menu like Mandriva 2011 has... Thats going to drive me off Linux completely... Its no wonder I use my Ataris more than the PCs.
