Keegan is going to ruin us!!!!!

No, Keegan had a right fit when Bernstein wouldn't let him spend any more, a rift was evident during the Fowler transfer when Bernstein didn't want to pay £6M up front for him.

Keegan and Bernstein had clashed before over transfer funds, and it seems as if Keegan won.

Hinchy, Keegan spent £50M and the club is now £39M in debt, which means that before Keegan took over we had something like £11M...

He's done some good things so far, admittedly, but his wager on putting the club £70m into debt will only work if we start qualifying for the UEFA cup from next season onwards. If we don't, we are ******, and quite royally too!

As for offloading Wanchope and Goater....errr, no  Those two plus Anelka and Fowler make for an excellent attacking force, we should invest into defenders and GK's and another midfielder or two, but certainly not get rid of The Goat.

I still don't think that putting a freshly promoted club £70M into debt is gonna work. If we don't qualify for Europe next season, we are ******. Keegan is risking too much, I would have preferred another season of midtable safety and then pushing for Europe rather than risking everything on next season.

keegan aint risking anything the board are by giving him the money

and no goater and wanchope are not good players. They are good 1st division players but neither will cut it at the top level.

get rid while they are worth something and bring in someone who will cut it at the top level.

also you have just stated that you should invest in

thats 6 players at least and yer having a go at keegan cos he wants to bring in four ?

I dont really see yer logic here unless you want him to magic 6 players out of thin air and not spend a penny.

I don't want 6 new players in one batch, I am pointing out the areas where improvements could be made, however, these improvements should be made over the next two seasons, not now in one batch. It would make more sense to take it easy, because the squad that is there will not get relegated for another two seasons, HOWEVER, not qualifying for Europe next season whilst having bought 4-6 players will destroy the club. If you get those players over a longer time span, it makes more financial sense.

Goater is not premiereship material? Look at his scoring rate, look at his games against ManU.

As for Wanchope, if he can cut it at the world cup, then he can cut the Premiereship I think :p
