Never had any issues on Hardy in the past with their stock kernel updates but this latest one failed to update grub and trigger dkms correctly. Just thought I'd put out an early warning.
I have a hand edited menu.lst and I notice they've also bumped up the ABI. This has never been a problem in the past.
Something failed in their update scripts anyway and the machine was still using the older kernel after a reboot.
Not something I'd want to be happening on a LTS release but there you go.
