keep board or return

planning a build with a 6960x and pascal gpus. recently bought a msi x99a godlike mobo, was wondering if it would be wise holding on to or return it and get a mobo in the near future?

I would return. Because Pascal is still a good 6 months away and there are bound to be quite a few newer mobos released by then.

Hmm guess that would be wise, haven't even opened the mobo yet.
Odd though feel a sense of not wanting to let go lol

Well I already did the same thing for a Z97 board I got from amazon. It also had a 30 days return window. £4 postage, no problems / hassles.

If you need like a mock-up for dimensions etc. Then make one out of paper / card. Print out & glue from an online photo. At least that's what I did, to get the case build going.
