Keep Geeting Port Scan Warning ????

Hi Guys

I keep getting the following auto e-mail from my Router

TCP Packet - Source:61.139.105.163 Destination:85.143.90.191 - [PORT SCAN]

Is this someone on the outside trying to gain access to my machine ??

Can anyone shed any light on this, can I better protect my PC or does this warning mean I have blocked their attempt

Not specifically yours, probably your ISP's entire IP range.You can safely ignore it.

I get 10s of these daily in my logs, as tolien said, probably someone scanning an entire subnet as opposed to just your IP.

It is just one of those things that happens every single day on the internet. It is just someone looking for open ports to try and exploit. If you don't have any open ports then you have nothing to worry about.
