keep getting kicked for this error

have installed COD4 3times now,all patched up and i have manually updated PB 5times but still keep getting kicked.
can anyone help me fix this please?

Tons on EB about it, starting ere, I know its for ET but a PB error is a PB error.

Get someone whos game works to send you the files, I've had stuff like that happen before, auto updating PBBAG an still being kicked, worth a try.

how are you updating the pb files? as there is a few ways to do it

delete the punkbuster folder, reinstall punkbuster using the pb download tool.

Then enable pbA and B through your firewall.

Also download http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe

and run the pb connection check.

and finally do not forget to restart your computer after all of the above.
