Keep it or Sell it?

Sell it to me plz. I'll give you £500 for it now. I chatted to you about this on IRC before. 100% interested in buying if you would sell at that price.

Yeah, I remember.

I really do need a "push" to sell it now and To be quite honest, the £500 I've already been given isn't enough of a push (if it was I wouldn't be having these "keep it" thoughts). I considered the grand I wanted for it to be a sufficient push and quite frankly, I do not believe that it is worth £500, Somebody with a driveway, engine crane, basic socket set, a free weekend and a maximum of £300 (for a recon head) could get 3x times that amount without breaking a sweat...

Nope. Unless I get a much better offer than the one I already have or somebody here levels a serious reality check, i think it stays...

If you can't be bothered now, what makes you think you'll ever be bothered?

As much as I enjoyed owning my 1.6, I'd get rid.

Just out of interest, are you a student?

It's not really a case of not being bothered of working on the car (actually, I quite enjoy working on cars) but it's a case of not being bothered to struggle unnecessarily. Doing a project like this on the side of the road is so frustrating. It's not like I have loads of space at the lock up though, but I can at least realistically look at getting the engine out. Once that is done the project can progress nicely.

I love the thought of it being finished though. A very easy 200BHP Per Tonne, LSD, ITBs, etc. If I get it done it'll be a properly epic little car.

Apprentice mechanic/technician.

Then do it as an educational exercise and view every other benefit as a bonus.
