I'm dual Booting my computer with Windows 7 64Bit Ultimate and Windows 8 64Bit RTM (see spec in Sig).
I've started using Windows 8 more, so the Wife gets used to the new UI, which to her credit she is!!.
I have my Movies and Music sitting on an external drive (WD 1Tb Elements) so I can share them between both OS's, trouble is when I boot into Windows 7 I have to repeatedly set my user account back in the Security tab and give it 'Full Control' to be able to access the Movies or Music on the drive! But Windows 8 can access them no problems every time!!
Is Windows 8 overwriting the permissions and wiping the Windows 7 ones?? is there some way I can get both to play nicely with each other!?!
It's getting annoying as each time I re-set the permissions in Windows 7 it takes some time (100Gb Music and 260Gb Movies )
Plus in Windows 7 looking at the Security Tab shows a couple of "Acount Unknown (S-1-5-21-2277430288-4107257617-249..." entries
Who or What are they!!?!??
Cheers
