Keep the Boxes

do i need to keep the boxes of hardware that i have bought. I built the computer in my Sig and have added many part6s to it, so have so many many boxes but am afriad to throw them away as i worry that i may need them as proof of purchase or something incase the product goes defect. do i need to keep any of the boxes? can atleast some be thrown away?
 
Space permitting , always keep the packaging.

If reselling its much easier and can add to the resell price.

guess 'll be keeping them then, just thought as my loft is full so have to have them in my room for the moment, and also redeocorating atm so space is needed but its no problemo keeping them. thanks for the help guys
 
Always always keep the packaging/boxes.

As has already been mentioned, it'll be helpful if you ever need to send anything back or want to sell anything on. People will be much more interested in buying if they know whatever they are buying comes in the original packaging rather than a Tesco's bag. :D :p
 
I've got all the boxs and packaging under my computer desk ^^ It actually works quite well as I can rest my feet ontop. It however doesn't look too pretty.
 
I always keep the boxes and packaging, great for when you sell stuff on - then you don't need to search around for a box the right size!
 
Yes I always keep boxes, bit of a pain when its larger items such as a PC case or Racing wheel but then you can put loads of smaller boxes inside them :)
 
I'm suprised how no ones mentioned the prettiness of some of these boxes :p My X700 and X1900 both came it lovely boxes that I'd be more then happy to frame and put on my wall.
