Keeping a record of my spendings.. Mac app

I use quicken essentials as I used to use quicken on the pc many moons ago and hoped that the data would transfer over. Sadly it didn't but the programed stayed.

There's an online feature that hooks up to a banks website (but I think this is for America only) and an iphone app feature, but I don't use neither, I just use it to keep track of my cash flow manually and my direct debits/standing order.

The best thing about it is that it displays £ symbols unlike a lot of the others I tried; yes OCD going crazy.

I am looking for a similar app, can any of these download Natwest data? Is Money4 any good, some of the reviews don't rate it too well?

I would recommend downloading and trying the demos. I own iBank (its pretty) and Money4 (functional). I found Money4 suitable for my needs by using a cludge to record vat, which iBank would not do. For personal banking iBank would be personal preference. Moneywell uses a different approach to the others mentioned in this post by utilising buckets for your different expenditure types.

I must admit that now I use a purpose built Numbers spreadsheet and it works better than any financial package for budgeting I have ever used.. not accounting, but personal budgeting.

In terms of Natwest data, I would try the demo. They all import various data types, but can't comment on Natwest data.

Ok I am back on the hunt again for this.

I have an app called Money Toolkit but its not very well supported. What it does though is (for natwest anyway) allow me to once logged in pull my live balance with Natwest. Its kinda cool.

Now I wondered if there was a mac app or iphone app that allowed management of multiple live bank sync's. Or at the very least the ability to draw down a file from my banks and collate the data in some sort of spendature budget I could use?
