The only let down with the 300 is the lack of being able to route cabling behind the mobo tray.

Depends how much you have in your case too. I have a 300 and with a bit of effort i have managed to do a nice cable management. I only have one Hard drive though!

Yeah I agree what other people have said, it really depends on what your putting in it and if your prepared to mod it a bit or not. I came up with this but another important thing to check is make sure your motherboard connections are in good positions, as you can see my 24/4pin power connections are placed in tricky places. 
this is the best i could manage without cutting the thing up.
