Keeping Dust Down!

I agree with the above. A positive pressure case allows you to filter the majority of air where you desire, as opposed to air and dust being sucked in through every crack.

So sorry if I'm being stupid, but you can get positive pressure by having more fans intaking than exhausting, and that should keep dust out?

My current case has a front dust filter but still gets pretty dusty due to just having a single rear exhaust fan and the PSU in total.

Either filter doesn't do its job or air leaks in from elsewhere, probably later knowing what kind most cases are.
If you don't have intake fan adding that would lower amount of air (and dust) drawn in from elsewhere.

Ah right, it's an old Antec 3700BQE and is under my desk close to carpet, so I expect some dust.

Plan to get an Antec P182 for a new build and wondered whether adding a front fan for better cooling would make it dustier too....

The fans on the P182 are filtered, so whilst some very fine dust will get in, the majority of it will be caught, especially if you tape up all the holes on the case where you don't want air to come in.
