So my laptop (Dell Vostro 1500) is currently 5 years old. I paid a lot of money for it and i think i have looked after it really well. It is in a great condition, quite clean but i am worried about the fans and the general "under the bonnet" stuff.

Is there anything i can do to ensure it lasts another 5 years or so? I know the battery is the main thing to look after but i'm not overly bothered by it as it stays in my house or somewhere with a pocket socket.

To be honest m8 a side from taking the laptop apart and giving it a good clean out
every couple of years there is not much that you can do to it to be honest.

Although it shouldn't be getting a lot of dust and stuff in it anyway as laptops don't tend
to drag that much air flow through them really.

Just monitor the temps and when they go high, let the laptop cool down, or get a laptop cooling stand
