Howdy have just got myself my second Lian-li 350, the first is running a 550BE (W/C) and a 5750 and is cool and quiet.
My second one is running a I7 920 (W/C) and a 5850 needless to say this is kicking out a fair bit of heat, i have undervolted the CPU to 1V vcore and it happily runs at 3.4Ghz (i did have it at 4Ghz but CPU was hitting 80C) the GPU is pre overclocked.
Im using the Rampage Gene (with a fan on the NB).

Now im a bit worried about putting the sides on, due to the lack of an exhaust, has anyone got any ideas!! has anyone added an exhaust fan to one of the side panels?

Sayso

Just got myself a Maximus III Gene, i5 and Lian-Li 350 setup with watercooling coming soon. At the moment what im thinking is, puting too very powerfull 120mm fans in the font fan bracket, with some stratigicly placed 80mm fans around the case to help exhaust. That is until i get the right tools and courage to make some 120mm holes in it :(

If most of the cables can be routed away from the flow from the front 120mm fans and your ram isnt too hight i think/hope that would give some great airflow.

Edit: Found a post a while back on the hardforum with two modded 350s, one with a 120mm in the roof and side and onother with a back panel that could house a 120mm fan. Will try and find em again

been looking at space for a side panel fan. would be a tight squeeze, thinking of going 92mm 1 on each side.

I have a 240 rad in the front bay and the GFX card nearly touches it, airflow is poor.

If you could find those links it would be great.

Lots of pics inc!

All of them have modified the backplate in some way though.
These people aparently can make you one. And have some free design tools to use on their site.

Edit: no idea of price though, but that company seem to do individual specilist orders fine.

I think i might go with something like the last picture, so i could mount a 120mm ad for a gpu loop in the future.

Excellent photos, thank you for posting them. For the OP, I think a pci slot cooler is probably the answer you're looking for. Maybe running backwards, feeding the gpu with cold air if the graphics are aircooled.

ive got some bits coming soon will post them in my build log when i get round to putting it up.
Have bought 1 120 RAD grill and a fan, im going to put it on the CPU side panel to exhaust the air, i might depending on how it performs put another one on the GPU side panel to blow air over the GPU, so im get a cross air flow.

edit a bit like the 6th picture down but with no mesh (to start with)
