They're both just wannabe celebrities, it's nothing about privacy they just want to create their own brand rather than being known as third rate Royal's.

Yeah to some extent, I mean she was already an ambitious actress who ditched her previous (film producer) husband (and best friend) when her career took off, this marriage to Harry has put her well into the A-List. She doesn't need to act anymore, they can both earn just be putting their name to stuff, making appearances, giving interviews, doing some voiceovers and just generally cashing in on their names/status.

It isn't that they don't want publicity, they want plenty of publicity, they just want it to be good publicity and they want to control the narrative. It isn't like the British Press will stop writing about them or that there aren't any paparazzi in LA either - they've got access to much bigger houses over there, more lucrative TV deals. She actively wanted to be introduced/set up with him, knew full well what she was getting into - she's not the 19-year-old Diana here suddenly getting press attention she's never had in her life, she's an already famous person who is quite familiar with paparazzi and actively courted them in the past.

This latest cash grab: the Opera interview is a tad risky, Prince Philip has just been transferred to a more specialized hospital so some obvious risk there, could be very bad timing indeed if something bad were to occur - we've just found out that Charle's visit was at the request of Philip to discuss the family so it seems he was concerned himself that he doesn't have long left. Though for something as big as this interview I'm not sure a US TV network will want to reschedule/postpone to some unspecified future date after they've headed over god knows how many millions to make it happen. British press will possibly have a field day (depending on the interview of course) - I wonder if their PR team might look to edit out or tone down some of it if it is bad. I guess it is going to get scrutinized regardless...

You've gotta keep in mind that some posters like Tony are like the boy who cried wolf when it comes to racism accusations, he just throws out the accusation when he simply doesn't like arguments made in any given thread.

Its not convenience at all. If someone is on ignore it shows a bar and as it was just under my last post I could tell it was you and are that you would say something about me so I unblocked the post to read it and I was right was I not?

You don't really understand the point of the ignore function do you, if you're putting someone on ignore then you still want to check in to see if they've said something about you or have quoted you etc.. then you're not really ignoring them, it is entirely redundant!

I mean it is almost as if it is just some pointless posturing that people do:

"OMG I'm putting you on ignore now!"
