Keeping up with the Markles

Well, there was an entire interview last night and regular comments from Harry in other interviews complaining about the press coverage they receive. It was also directly cited at the time as one of the reasons for their move to the states.

The fact that you're struggling to cite a specific instance says it all.

So he didn't really serve though did he if he was under constant protection by the militaries finest and kept out of harm's way the entire time?

An Apache only seats two; i guess this "SAS guard" must have just plonked himself on the wings...

He was in a £50m helicopter armed to the teeth with rockets surrounded by at least a dozen other aircraft all armed to the teeth.

To think he served like everyone else did and for 10 years is absurd and completely disrespectful to those that genuinely do serve.

Harry did 10 years in the Army, I think it was poor wording that he'd served all of that in Afghanistan.

However on his first tour he was a forward air controller attached to a troop from the Blues and Royals, and on his second he was an Apache pilot. Neither time was he surrounded by a dozen other aircraft.

Most of his deployment as a pilot would have been spent escorting the med Chinooks with one other Apache.

The fact that you're struggling to cite a specific instance says it all.

Eh? I just cited two specific instances where they've voiced complaints about the press. The interview last night and the announcement of their move to the states, if you want a third then see the James Cordon interview.

I'm baffled that you're even doubting this - you'd have to be living under a rock to not know that they took issue with the press coverage they've received, there have been far more stories about them than the tiny number they've taken legal action over.

Im not a huge fan of the royals due to some of the things they have done but looking at thing this my thought on things.

This was a Interview bias IMO Opera did not ask any of the hard questions, did not push back on any of the questions like most Interviews, did not ask anything other then what they wanted. this was more like a open mic.
Why was the interview only with Meghan and harry popped in every now and then ?
I feel she had help with this to make her self look like the victim.

Why did the bullying claims not come up, not really a interview IMO.

Smells like a lot of BS

After what she did to her own family did anyone think this was going to turn out any better
points

1. Kate made her cry (really), Why has it took her 3+ years to clear this up ? he left the UK so she could have cleared it up.
2. Prince Charles is not taking calls, are you suppressed ? you want to live in the us, have your freedom and earn your own money with your brand but you want him to pay your bill to do nothing, and probably only called when you needed something so he cut you off. could be much deeper but this give us a idea
3. Archie's colour, what was the context and who was it, if your only giving half the info people will believe it.
only reply its going to be damaging to them, and this is not.

4. Meghan was having a breakdown and did not get the help, Ok but why did she not do what most people would do, get it herself or tell harry and he can arrange something, She seamed fine in the spotlight at the time
5. Not getting the title of prince, was he entitled to get one in the first place ?

They wanted privacy but they are going on talk shows, giving interviews, deals with Netflix and Spotify
They wanted to be independents but still want the titles and funding, I knew this is what they wanted when they left but you can get it both ways

Does anyone know if they still have right to the royal titles ect ?

if the HRH wants to end thing like this she need to speak out and put her foot down now or it will keep happening.
Exactly this. It isn't a grey area, it's just flat out wrong. If they 100% believe their account as being factually accurate, then they are delusional, if they know know their account is inaccurate, they are being willfully dishonest.

Either way, basic factual errors are a definitive way to damage credibility.
True but American's don't care or think, thats the reason she thinks she can get a lot of support and maybe more money and she's always had support from one group people because she's black, if she's right or wrong and you see that on a lot of interview and people supporting her.

Yeah, it's not like she's got a husband could simply tell her, I mean it was major enough for her to bring up in this interview but apparently, Harry, who has been in the Royal Family since both, couldn't tell her a simple fact. And she's completely oblivious to his uncle's family or his aunt's family too...

You're being a bit credulous there tbh,...
That's what I've been say.

The Queen should strip them of their dukedom.

She was surprised she was asked to curtsy for the queen. Is she thick or just full of self importance, it’s the queen for Christ sake.
I would say full of self importance, thats why she wanted to leave when she did not get her way

Did Oprah ask them whether this was just sour grapes because the firm didn't grant furlough - they've been living on the cake line.
No

Yes but that was only casually racist by inference of the actions of the nazis.
lol

Indeed, it would be great to have the full context on exactly how it played out. That's never going to happen though as they don't want to out anyone specifically, we can just assume the family enjoys casual racism, Harry included.
Well that would explain a lot

Surely they wouldn't if they were racist and much less put on the full royal wedding treatment.

Everything I've seen shows they were warmly welcomed into the royal family but they didn't want to put in the work and instead fancied a celebrity lifestyle so agitated for a move away.
I agree and thats the issue.

She will be in contact with the best agents in the business, with everything being run behind the scenes, and they will milk the Diana/Royal connection dry. This is showbiz people, they're not normal people so stop thinking of them like they are.

Prince Harry was whisked to safety by SAS bodyguards as the Taliban launched its deadly attack on Camp Bastion.

Harry had grabbed a pistol and was ready to fight but was taken to a fortified safe room on the base during the three-hour suicide bombing mission.

The SAS guarded Harry through the night, primed to take on the Taliban fighters who have vowed to kill him.

Numerous sources confirm this.

Sounds like he served like everyone else.

In a heavily guarded safe room surrounded by the militaries best.
I know for a fact he was NEVER in any danger relative to where he was, even his pretend foot patrols he was a minimum 3 lines back from anything that was happening with detail on him, lol, it was app pretend for him. He could have worn a MEGA suit with the maican flag drapped over him and no one would have seen him in it.

I'm not going to watch it and use it as time to sneak off and play some video games but I'm looking forward to the fallout tomorrow over the internet.

People have already picked their sides. Tonight is all about throwing fuel and a few tyres onto the blaze.

It's already on in Sweden ner ner.

It's very American.
UK press sucks. True.
American girl got in too deep with British pomp. Could not handle it.
Sad that it's news.

I think people such as yourself are dodging responsibility when making claims broadly levelled at "the royal family".

You reckon "they" are waging a "proxy war" through the media. But as I predicted "they" in your mind doesn't include the queen and I'll bet "they" doesn't include a lot more people.

What's the matter, you're on an anonymous forum and you can't bring yourself to name who you actually mean? There's a few excuses of ignorance, wilfulness or just talking trash to choose from.

At the very least the ones dribbling about nonces are specifying Andrew as their target.

Are we touching a nerve here or something? You seen very defensive of the Windsors'.

"At the very least the ones dribbling about nonces are specifying Andrew as their target" wow that is your response to a man who spent decades hanging out with a known sex offender and trafficker of young and underage girls. He clearly isn't doing everything he can to assist the FBI in their enquiries. I'd be jumping on a plane and sitting down for a deposition with prosecutors if I was him and completely innocent. You seem to feel anyone bringing it up are "dribbling".

I know you can't say but can we all assume that you are or were in the SAS?

Please.

I'm happy to accuse any BS floating past that I notice of being BS, very deflective of you to ignore everything I said and try to argue about something else.

And yes, The 2-3 people I've seen that enjoy using nonce and paedo as an adjective for Andrew are really into the low grade posts, yet like I said, they've managed, unlike you to name a name for their ranting instead of vaguely saying "them" so figure that out.

Was at least hoping for some top tier memes....
