Hi

Moving to a new home and looking at these for living room, good reviews, anyone on here got experience of them?

I have the Kef T105 package in a fairly large bedroom. They're pretty impressive for what they are; particularly in terms of build quality. The Kef T205 package has the larger front speakers, so I'd imagine that they'd sound even better than my 105s. What electronics will you be pairing them with?

There is one caveat though. They're very good for home theater use, but they are simply not good "hifi" enough for stereo music use, if that's a deal breaker.

You may also want to consider the Monitor Audio soundframe speakers. These are apparently quite good as well and are of a similar form-factor to the Kef speakers.

Ok cheers for info, yes I do listen to music a fair bit.

Got a pair of kef ref speakers, meridian player and onkoyo AV amp

Food for thought. Trip to audio t with CD player.
Got a small lounge so not great

Thought about going to your local Richer Sounds? If you give them a heads up they're usually happy to arrange a set up for you to test - you can bring your own media.

Might feel obliged to buy off them afterwards but I find their warranty/price quite good value most of the time.

Not a fan of RS, so will try Audio T first. Last time I visited they price matched.

Been doing some measuring and further thoughts, I might get one of the racks from hifiracks.co.uk as their foot print isn't bad. Will move in first though lol.

Current got a kef ref speakers and a dyna audio centre speaker
